Cheers for the games last night gents. I'll be focusing on upgrading that sniper this weekend, the lack of armour is a killer.

I can't totally blame that for being a shambles in a couple of matches though. Reckon I'll need to enrol in Goober's Tank Tactics 101.

I've been having some success as artillery recently. I say success, it basically veers between matches where I lay waste to the other team and ones where an enemy tank or two breaks through the lines early on and destroys me almost before I can get any hits in.

Seems to more of an issue on smaller maps, which makes sense but it's bloody annoying when it happens 3 or 4 games in a row.

Finally rocking some tier 4 tanks and will be upgrading to 5s soon. Is this where I need to start thinking about keeping crews?

Have any of them reached 100% trained yet? You can transfer crews to another tank, doing so will reset their progress to 75% if you spend silver or you can carry them across at 100% if you spend gold. Transferring them to a different class of tank, so say light to medium costs you even more so is not recommended.

You can recruit a new crew but I think the cost to retrain them up to a competent level is prohibitive. I think that even if your current crew is only at something like 65%, you can still transfer them and taking the silver option actually boosts them up to 75% trained, but I'm not sure as I haven't done it.

Once a crew hits 100%, you get the option to start training extra perks or skills with them. So, when transferring a crew and their level drops to 75%, they will stop earning XP on their skill or perk until their tank training level reaches 100% again.

My reasoning around not bothering to transfer crews early on, is that you would spend far more transferring them through tiers 1-4 than you would earn, so best to recruit a default crew with each new tier until reaching the next tier becomes a 'grind'. This is only based on my own experience though so may not be gospel.

Top tips, cheers. I think only one of my current crews have hit 100% trained so far as I recently started training them on a perk. I'm in no rush to upgrade to tier 5 really so I might just grind out some silver for a bit to avoid spending actual money when moving crews.

I'll be keeping them within the same class anyway so no worries about the extra cost there. Should be on tonight if anyone's around for some games. Unless there's FNF instead?

I've just been in The Works and they've got lots of little die cast tanks for £2. Many from WoTs.
And then I saw the dreaded M3 and I gave a little shudder.

Ah but those sweet M4s are awaiting on the other side. I'm currently slogging away in a German DW2 heavy, with the aim of cracking through to the Tiger fam. Many ops have a heavy bent to them at the moment so worth getting on for bonus XP and silver.
