It's not so much the Hayter factor for me. I just don't think Keifer's voice is gruff enough for Big Boss.
It's slightly more higher pitched than I'd expect.

It's definitely a series that's easier to get into in your younger years, which I suppose says something. Though Snake Eater perfectly balances serious Cold War spy drama and complete knowing farce and It's fantastic for it.

I'm likely being harsher on Kiefer because I've never seen an episode of 24.

Just can't seem to get Paz out without getting caught, then it all kicks off and lots of people die.

Anyone managed it without tranqing any guards?

Got an S on every mission but not without tranqing guards on every single one. Massive bonus points for saving prisoners on each one, and turn off the reflex thing as that docks huge points.

There is but I can't remember the details, Tre-d and sas etc should know better than me and might be able to help more.

Upload to you tube and export to external memory device etc to be included in the next update on ps4.

So, the ending wasnt as bad as i'd been lead to believe. It was crass and over the top like all cut scenes but I wasnt put out by it.

Is there something worse outside of the main story (tapes etc)?

Finally bought this. There is a code inside, for some ps3 (and ps4?) exclusive stuff. Bought it second hand... It says it's for future DLC for Phantom Pain, is the code usable now? I tried entering, but didn't work. Not sure if it's cos code has been used or cos it's for future use.

It's not for use until Phantom Pain is released. No idea what the content is, the Xbox One version says it needs 10gb of HDD space.

I tried using mine on my xbox one from new and it didn't work so I imagine it'll be activated closer to MGSV.

The whole thing is pretty ludicrous from fulton recovering an entire jeep full of Russian soldiers. I liked it.

Holy fucking shit, what the absolute fuck is that article going on about? Sure rape and so on probably doesn't have a place in a game by Kojima, given his track record with representations of women, but all the reaching in the so called reasons and meaning for what happens in the tape suggest some personal issues of the writer being imprinted on the game by the writer.

Why do all such articles have to go to such extremes? They're just trying to make things seem much worse than they actually are by pushing negatives and making grand leaps in the arguments.

I'm not going to defend the dodgy voice acting, the writing, the lack of trigger warnings or even the inclusion of the content but waxing about Oedipal shit that you've pulled from your ass. Fuck off.

I haven't got the fourth tape yet but I can say with confidence that this writer is full-retard.

The entirely unbelievable end scene – where she’s held down by Snake and Chico while a doctor reaches around inside...

The scene borders on the pornographic...

there’s no time for anaesthetic, maximum pain must be ensured for some unspoken reason.

So in a game with rape as a weapon of war as the primary theme, there's a scene where a woman is held down by some soldiers while one of them gets inside her, hurts her, and takes something from her. And that didn't ring any bells?
