Forgotten how game saves work on this. I saw the word saving on bottom left and assumed it auto saves. After quitting to menu and then checking my level completion, looks like it didn't save my position in chapter 1. Bah! So I gave to do that bloody Alfheim Portal again?! Seems to have saved my halos and the half moon pearl I got, but not level/verse completion.Â
Have to start chapter 1 again it seems. At least I should be able to get platinum medals on those first couple of verses.
I started a new game and just did the Vestibule. Took about 10 seconds for it all to click back into place again, except for dodge timings because the attacks are so slow at the beginning. The basics just work so well.
Not sure whether to carry on with this in Normal or go back to a previous game with all the stuff and do a Hard run now.
Christ, I played for a good 3/4 of an hour on Infinite Climax last night. Lost count of the amount of times I died. Nothing clicked at all for me and only got up to that bit when you need to do three torture attacks to proceed.
Was lucky to get one!
Going to do some reading up today to see if I can get a more beneficial loadout. Odette is just not doing it for me. Also can't remember how to switch from ice to fire. Really has been too long since I played this.
I've carried on playing on Normal with a new game. Got to about halfway through Ch.2 last night. Did a few of the Alfheim portals on the way, which is a good way to learn various tactics and techniques. The one on Ch.2 which is just kill everything within the time limit is still a favourite part of the whole game for me - it really teaches you crowd management.
So far I've just bought a couple of new moves - the air dodge and the rising midair kick. Both are well worth having from an early stage.
The Alfheim Portals change on different difficulties, don't they? Example, if on normal you have to kill all within time limit, on hard it may need you to kill all with wicked weaves within time limit.
I'm going to attempt to join y'all in this, at least until I can get my hands on Halo. Are there any useful tutorial/guide type things to help me get up and running?
Forgot about this. Too many other games to play so I have up replaying it. Shame, it's such a great game. If only I was rich, didn't have to work and could just play games whenever I wanted.
