I'm gonna play this tomorrow to shave off the .120ish I can realistically achieve, then hope that's enough to secure 3rd. If Stormy/anyone else beats me by more than that I'll admit defeat.
It's pretty sad that I'm already massively looking forward to the next track. -

Send messageAfter three attempts I managed to get Live running, so had a quick blast on Giga then came back to this. I just got exactly the same time as Moot, it's still ranking me one place below but that's fine. I lost almost two tenths in the middle section but pulled it back at the end.
Voices time is just amazing, over half a second faster.

Think that's me done for this track though, that was about as quick a run as I can expect to do.

Same here. I've tried slowing the top replays down and mimicking their technique, but it's probably only one in ten where I don't lose time on that section. I nail it - or near enough - on my replay, but the unseen footage tells a far more frustrating story. If the final stretch was flat I would have beaten Voices once last night. Once out of 1000 attempts.

I was 0.4 ahead of my own time last night and those bumps screwed me. It's not just you Moot! It's annoying because my saved run is really, really dirty. I had a 39.1 which looked really fluid and nice, but unfortunately it doesn't judge you on that. Boo.

Gah! I'm done. I can reach the final stretch neck and neck with the leaders on a semi-regular basis, but I can't stomach watching them pull ahead as I wobble over the bumps (followed by not clearing the gap) any more times than I already have. I even tried 25 restarts from the checkpoint in an attempt to learn that section, without nailing it once.Â
Unless I have a massive change of heart I'm finished with this track, well played the top bods. -

Up to you guys. He's a thoroughly nice chap, hence his selection as my best man in October, but he's a bastard at Trials. Obviously he'll always be in the photos (as I'm using this comp as a head to head with him too), but he doesn't have to be given weekly points/whatever we're doing.
