Good competition was had. Would be fun to do a Rising version, and I'd be happy to ride the donkey. Probably wouldn't win, but I reckon I'd have some good weeks.
Never again. Trials Fusion was one of my most played PS5 games this year and most of that was spent chasing one time DS probably set in 10 minutes when he was mangled.
I reckon you could have it if you wanted to. There's a fender grab that saves some time that isn't in my run, plus my riding in Fusion is pretty messy.
I don't think so - fender grab is one of the names for techniques - like squishy and fap.
It's where you flip over and get your fender stuck on an edge with the bike upside down, and then use the throttle to rotate the bike clockwise back onto two wheels.
Edit: I think I'm having a stroke as I can't recall the name for the most common speed run technique where you lift your wheel over a ramp to stop getting air.
I've never done a fender grab in my entire Trials career. No idea on proper advanced techniques tbh. It's why most my times were Medium tracks, perfect blend of technique and speed.
It was fun, but I don't know how I used to find the time to take it seriously - having a non-forum friend join in definitely helped with the competitive element though. I have been taking part in the Circuit Superstars league lately, which is two weeks per round with a one week break in between and I do 2-3 hours in total each round, whereas Trials Evolution was every week without (m?)any breaks and I often put in twice the time per round...

This.
And also the rest of your post. I loved it but wouldn't go back - the taste of the chase last month was enough to remind me that a) it's my favourite game EVER, and b) my time with it is done.
It was all about beating that time - which was perfectly placed as something initially miles ahead that I could realistically chase. I only meant to beat Muzzy at first, then kept going...
