    Yeah, I've noticed myself slotting in nicely with the run around like an idiot group with this game. I only ever really used an smg in CoD4 but its pretty much all I've been using apart from the type 25 and pump action for giggles.

    I tested out my knife/pistol 6 perk class yesterday on the train station and I'm only a few stabs away from my second knife camo. Finished top also, which was nice.
    It's a goddamn snoozefest out there.

    It has to be based on team performance to force randoms to play as a team. It's the beauty of a ranking system, it gives people an incentive to try and WIN and not just pad their K/Ds. I cannot believe that COD now has this whilst Halo doesn't.

    Yeah, I'm really glad for it. It's in a sort of pre-season at the moment, I'm assuming so they can see how it's working. The first season starts on Dec 1st and I think the season will last a month.

    I'm not 100% on all the details and I've heard things that hint towards everyone being reset each season and then doing the placement matches again to decide a new rank. It doesn't sound too bad considering everything is unlocked for you.

    I did have a quick go as a team and noticed it said 'new team'. I don't know if you'll have to do the  placement matches as a new team each time or if it'll remember your team/positions.

    Yeh, the lag free hardcore games I really enjoyed. Really tense creeping about the level. 

    A few lads from work (delboy, OldmanTaylor) have it, so we could even get some 3 v 3 private games maybe.

    I hate that map with a passion on anything bar capture the flag. It's also the worst map for spawn campers. Mind you, I got a death machine out a care package on it last night and that was hilarious. I felt like the Terminator!

    Really enjoying the league games as well. Had a demolition last night where two randoms pulled out leaving  just me and another guy against 4. We did blooming well to win. Best CoD moment for a long time.

    You guys have got to pair up Engineer with the Black Hat. The number of times I hacked a Betty to then see the previous owner come to see what's going on and get blitzed by his own gear will never get boring.
    I think it even says to them Your equipment is gone, so they come back to take a look. It also drops UAV's after a time delay.
    It's a goddamn snoozefest out there.

    Really am enjoying the MP when it's ticking along ok. Some decent games tonight.
  • I love it when my K/D ratio isn't the best but I'm still in the top 3 for team based games. Support role, yo. Had a match with 4 fuzzbusters, 2 blackouts and a bunch of other support type thingies, even after arriving late to the game.
  • Fucking HAAAATE the Yemen map. It reminds me an awful lot of the shite MW3 maps. Hijacked isn't too bad unless you're against an entire team of snipers, which happened the other night. I suppose I should do the SP but I just haven't been bothered...
  • Enjoyed the CTF last night with Iain, Rayman and Kneecap. Not gelling with S&D so, not a fan of no respawn game types.

    Started campaign afterwards on Vet, s'alright I spose. Having not played Blops the first I'm obviously missing some back 'story'.

  • Tried out the highlights function after a last game of TDM where I enjoyed a 20-6 game. Quite impressive how it seeks out the kills for the montage, a lot of mine were decidedly lowly rated though.

  • Every kill on cod is the same so I don't really see much attraction in watching videos of them. The highlight function sounds amazing though, COD copies and then surpasses Halo in yet another area.

  • It looks like a pretty clever feature, it spent half an hour uploading my 15 and 0 game, then failed yesterday, so I won't sing its praises yet. Quite a muddle of an interface as well with almost no explanation of what each step actually involves. 

    If it ever appears, my video will involve 10 people stepping in front of my gun. Better players will have a lot more technique, but it's not a looker of a game. Bragging is bragging I suppose. Something to look forward to in every game next gen hopefully.

    I played the campaign in BlOps 1. Didn't understand a bloody word of it.

    I've not turned it on in a while so people might already know all this but here's the short version of the patch update.

    21 Nov 2012 – Xbox 360 Game Update Notes

    Made infrastructure and performance improvements to Live Streaming.
    Made streaming performance improvements to video playback in CODTV.
    Addressed an issue where flight range parameters for airborne vehicles could be deleted in the middle of a match due to a network interruption. This fix resolves the following symptoms reported by the community: Escort drone flying under the map and inability to call in the Dragonfire.
    FHJ-18 weapon level is now increased by destroying Scorestreak vehicles and aircraft.
    Care Package/AGR canister exploit has been addressed.
    Patched a small map exploit in Aftermath.
    Addressed a rare situation that would cause the Emblem Editor menu to overlap other menus.
    Balance pass on spawn influencers to improve cases causing non-optimal spawning under certain conditions.
    Improved performance for emblem uploads to prevent an occasional hang. If there is an error connecting to servers during an upload, you will now be able to re-try your save.
    Emblems and Clan tags will now appear correctly on the Assault Shield when stowed on the back.
    Addressed all reported UI error code messages.
    Elite Clan Friends list no longer actively sorts players when their status is updated. The player list will refresh after closing and re-opening the tab.
    Improved a number of emblem icons in the Emblem Editor.
    Junkyard IV reward added to Calling Cards.

    Looks like the spawning has at least taken a step forward. No news about a much needed smg nerf.
    I'm having an hour on it now and tomorrow I'll be on from 1500 onwards.
