I also bought a large plastic box container with a tight fitting lid for the flour. Then I can just pop the lid off and scoop the flour out using the cup measurement with the minimum of fuss.

She said it was really nice but that it felt like it was lacking a kick and she would prefer it with some chilli. I've converted her, by stubbornly refusing to not put chilli in most thing. I now just need to gradually increase her tolerance.

I didn't think my 18 hour was as nice as the 12, but I'm wondering if it was because nobody was home for a large part of that so the house would have been quite cold.
