I sort of think that by the time the Speccy was competing with the C64 and Amstrad, things had already moved on a generation. It was the early days when the Spectrum ruled unchallenged that felt innovative. Bit of a wild west for gaming as we invented what it might be. I was young, but I remember a lot of the games. Night Race, 3D Ant Attack, The Hobbit, Jet Pac, Skool Daze, Horace Goes Skiing …
Uuughh.Demand for the SNES Mini is immense, with auction sites regularly selling units for over twice their RRP. Indeed, I was able to sell 7 consoles for nearly £140 each in less than 24 hours. And whilst some may accuse me of being a “scalper” and for opportunistically ripping off Nintendo’s “fans”, it’s worth bearing in mind that they had the exact same opportunity in being able to democratically secure a unit like I did
