I've pumped over 25 hours into this now. Â Currently farming Dark Notes after compiling a favourites list. Â Lightning and one of the unlockable characters come in useful if you use them to unlock new Dark Notes.
America is getting the Type-0 DLC on 13 September so I don't know if that holds some significance for that particular game. Is that after that event thing they're doing?

Squeenix are taking the piss. Although not all the tunes on 3DS would've been to a person's liking, and the iOS iap model allows freedom to choose and pay for what you want, it doesn't make financial sense.
They took the pisse with FF Dimensions. How hard can it be to get pricing at a decent level (from consumer point of view)?
That doesn't include the song packs either. Which apparently contain different songs from the single listings.
FF Dimensions is in some sort of Squeenix sale at the mo. Still stupidly expensive for what you get though.
Squeenix have a very odd sense of pricing for mobile devices. I haven't helped this by splurging £16.99 for the iPad version of the mediocre Chaos Rings 2.
They need to have some sort of sale.

I've only ever bought their stuff when on sale. Need to finish off Chaos Rings 1, but bought it for £5.99 I think, which is still a lot, but not bad if its a big and enjoyable game (liked what I played of it).
Chaos Rings 1 and Chaos Rings Omega were worth the money I paid. Good JRPG lite titles, worth the lower cost of iPhone playing. Completed them both 100%
Chaos Rings 2 was attrocious. I finished the main scenario, couldn't bring myself to go back and try and do the different pieces.

So, this is actually really good. I need to get an iTunes card and start downloading some songs.
Have bought one 'Otherworld' from FFX. There's no sign of 'Iro no nai sekai' from FFXIII, which is a massive disappointment.

A 3DS sequel to this is coming out with over 200 songs and over 60 characters. It will also have a Versus multiplayer mode. It's coming out Spring 2014 in Japan. Oh yeah, it's called Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call.
