The 3DS version was basically a port, which is why I asked. I was only joking, I didn't think it would be allowed, but that Elf plays by his own rules.

I just give up. If you know it's a port of an old (2011) release, why ask?!

Meanwhile, I reckon Life is Strange might push yoshi out. Rocket League, Ori and Bloodborne are pretty solid - I think Witcher 3 is too, though my memory of it is fading, so I might need to resurrect that too. Things become difficult if I play X before voting ends.

My list in pending Xenoblade X, but so far its likely to be something like, Splatoon, Mario Maker, Undertale, The Witcher, Fallout 4.

I would have had mgs 5 over the Witcher and Fallout if it didn't give you half an ending, then send you back to the same locations for the latter half of the game to get the 'proper' ending. Left a bit of a sour taste.

I've only just played 5 games that were released this year

1. Bloodborne - unbelievably immersive and beautifully crafted world
2. Rocket League - laugh out loud hilarious fun
3. Halo 5 - Takes the best FPS multiplayer gameplay (H3) and adds a few fun bits
4. super mario maker - fun
5. Splatoon - fun

Most enjoyed this year - the last of us remastered. I need to check out life is strange.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, Splatoon and Life is Strange.

Maybe Fallout 4, but I feel like I haven't really done that much yet in 10 hours, gonna look for a Xenoblade order now and a Captain Toad deal, that was actually released in January over here.

Not sure if I actually played much more this year, Mario Maker only got an evening of my attention so far, Yoshi hasn't been bought yet.
