Got another chicken for roasting this weekend.
Think Im going to to a paste like rub of olive oil, tomato puree, tumeric, cumin, coriander, paprika then shove some cloves into the breast meat, lime and garlic in the butt.
To me personally, that's by far the most exciting, incredible and masterful piece of cooking anyone has ever put in this thread. That is so so good man, I wish I could prep up all the fillings, for fun I might have to douse it in BBQ sauce batch Adobo, and smash a 10/10 burger into next century right this second. Even though I went to street feast and had the run of a free box of burnt ends. There sauce was weak and there weren't no buns like that, props to you man.
Eating a lot of veg curry at the moment. I suppose if there's one thing that links burgers, curry and ribs, it's eating with your hands. I fucking love eating with my hands.
It's one of the many things I really miss about India, and I encourage the little 'un to eat with his hands as often as possible.
The novelty of lamb ( not cheap for single people) draws me back but ultimately the best Indian dishes are veg.
Prob down to Hinduism being ultimately vegetarian.
This is true. I think the problem sometimes, is that when you're dealing with hard-to-get, quality ingredients, it would be fair to assume you might have to change your supplier to get them in more volume. These guys are pretty big on consistency so we'll see.
I thought Shake Shack was pretty meh. Don't take a vegetarian friend there, their veggie burger is highly unimpressive. Decent fries, but not a patch on the P&B rosemary ones.
I went to a place called Tommi's the other day, near P&B. Wasn't as good as some of the other burger places, but it was tasty, cheapish and had zero queueing time.
