I'm the guy who grew up with the movie, watched the cartoon series religiously, knew every word from the film (still do!), ran around with my friend with a replica toy proton pack. The first film was the first dvd I ever bought. Ive seen it more than any other movie. As I type this I'm genuinely wearing a Ghostbusters pj top. I'm a 36 year old man in Ghostbusters jammies. This was great. Made me so happy

At first I thought the terrible, unsubtle writing was on purpose and would lead to something but no it was just bad writing. Also, a couple of creepy moments but a lot that seemed like they were meant to be but they really weren't... Disappointing.

Almost like Edgar Wright is a bad director.
Ah yes, I activated the Reg-signal.
I like his earlier stuff but he definitely needs someone to write his films for him

I love the LotR films, but other than a few amazing scenes from this trilogy I found the majority of the Hobbit films a bit crap. They're tonally all over the place but actually I enjoyed this one on rewatch, probably because it's the darkest of the three and totally the most consistent. 7
