Well this is rather good isn't it.. I have no idea what I'm doing yet though. Wins do seem to be a mixture of the odd good play mixed with opponent ineptitude.
What class have you started with? Rogue is hot, I've read and I've had success with Priest. In my short time playing, I've discovered that Chillwind Yeti is a total bro.
I've just been looking at this page to see a basic deck without crafting. Level up to 10 with a character to get their free class cards.
Mostly sticking with Mage, though I've had a dabble quick with the rogue. Should probably try some of the other classes but I like teh magics. I bought some cards earlier, most of which weren't great, but I picked up a pretty fierce spell at least...
I'm going to order some pizza and drink alcohol and keep playing this all night. It's only been 5 hours so far...
Watch Trump and Kripps streams on twitch guys, its all about getting the maximum value out of each card in your given situation, you will pick up so much knowledge from these guys. Kungen is also worth a watch and he normally streams at more euro friendly times.

After playing a few games with Nexx last night (thanks for those) and watching a few Youtube videos this morning, I think I've got a much better grasp on this now. So much so that I've won every game I've played today WOOO (um, 3 games total).
This really is fantastic. Still running with a Mage, but after picking up a few nice Druid cards in packs I should probably give him more of a try.
Warrior is getting a lot more popular these days since people have had enough time to craft or get Alexstraza and Grommash Hellscream for a horrific end game combo.

First I tried using the Teamviewer app as it's free but whilst I could stream the desktop and navigate folders & browse, loading hearthstone didn't work properly. Just saw the blizzard launcher and got sound but no graphic. It recognised me mousing over the game options but I just couldn't see them on iPad.
So I ended up paying £6.99 for Splashtop 2. That works a charm and I've just been practising against 'expert' bots in bed.
