Online is perfect for getting your skills up. I'm not going to start a Badger poker thing by telling everyone to take £10 to a casino. Learning online is a vital place to begin.

Don't play any games with actual cash before we've gone over a few things but use that video and see how far you get. 1. Learn video position and hands. 2. Don't limp. 3. Do not get involved in any all-ins pre-flop. Avoid them as much as possible generally - let them knock each other out but if a person has a small stack then they're desperate so maybers. 4. If you haven't made a pair or two on the flop then fold. If you have a flush go all-in. Don't worry about the turn or river cards at this stage. Again, play only the position dependent hands in the video More later but see how you get on with these simple rules.Any site recommendations? Might give a free tourney a go.
