It might be partly down to me trying to adapt my play style but I seem to have more control and haven't found myself calling bullshit yet as I did almost every time I played 13.
I never really got into ultimate team before either but I can tell it's sucked me in already this time so looking forward to tinkering with my squad and starting a season.
Haven't tried online yet but I'm on 360 so let me know if anyone wants a few games.

Players also have better angle coverage, meaning they turn and rotate both on and off ball with more authenticity. Their feet are better planted to the ground, so players don't appear to hover or slide around like they used to at times.
There's also plenty of smaller visual touches that add up to a much more beautiful looking game; blades of grass that are thrown up after a kick, water spray that comes off the ball in soggy weather, cloth is now better simulated and close up, players have more detail.
