Just had a go on Vita Pinball Arcade, the screen automatically flips to portrait when you tilt it beyond a certain angle, this not happening for you?
I'd play this a lot more if they allowed you to use buttons and d-pad for controls, can't get on with triggers or touchscreen. Hope they patch it before Creature From the Black Lagoon is released at the end of october.
Picked up PvZ for FX2 and the latest table pack for Arcade on the 360, which includes both Gorgar and monster Bash. Like them all but Monster Bash is without doubt my favourite, love those creature features.
I like Funhouse but haven't played it anywhere near enough, tend to spend most of my time on Bride of Pinbot and Cirqus Voltaire. Shame really, I'll make an effort to spread the love around.
Had some time with Wolverine (360), Sorcerer's Lair (iOS) and Infinity Gauntlet (Mac) yesterday.Â
Does anyone else own 3 different versions of Pinball FX/Zen and 2 different versions of Pinball Arcade? Â
I see Classic Game Room have a dedicated PAPA channel now. Lots of balding men talking you through how to score on the classic tables. Some pretty understated skills in the vids.
Marvel: Avengers Chronicles is on XBLA Deal of the Week at 400 MSP, which is another surprising reduction in price given that almost immediately after launch it was available for effectively 600 MSP in the July Superhero promo (which is when I bought it, dammit). I wonder if this is a sign of a reduction in popularity of Pinball FX2?
the Captain America table is also available at half price for 120 MSP, although I can't say I'm as big a fan of it as of the Avengers DLC...
Think my score was around that Pidg (possibly around 1.1-1.2bn). Don't think I have you on Live (presume it's 360 version you are playing?) - be nice to have someone other than me and stormy on the leaderboards.
Will definitely bite at 400msp. Been umming an erring about another couple of tables to buy. Think I'll pass on the CA one though - videos I've seen make it seem pretty unremarkable.
I should prob'ly take it off my watch list to avoid further longing / thoughts of post office robbery (ours is a nice little post office, just one old bloke, not much of a challenge).
If I had somewhere to put it (I don't) then I would seriously consider it. Even the missus (who hates me playing any sort of video game) was like, yeah, if we had a garage it would be quite cool to get one!!!
re: Bride of Pinbot. Just managed to score 4 billionaire shots on a single ball and finally got all the wizard goals done. Up to ranking 146 on the leaderboard with a score of 4,079,449,370.
Table is a bit of a one trick pony, but it's a great trick.
Gonna try and put some more time into Medieval Madness now coz every time the King of Pain says 'Multiball' I feel a little happier inside.
cheers dood. I like to think about 0.5% of that run was pure skill.
Black Hole has been kicking my arse though. Unorthodox flipper placement means I haven't found a reliable way to get to the ball lock. As for the lower level playing field....
Vita, Android and just the one table on IOS. So far.
Black Hole's a bugger. I've found it the hardest table of the ones I have. I've currently bought all the tables up to Cirqus Voltaire. It looks a cool table, but it hasn't grabbed me yet.
Trying to work out if I prefer playing on a Nexus 7 or the ipad.
I've got Zen too, but the ball physics feel weird.
I see you picked up the Marvel Chronicles pack, Pabs. Not amazing, not terrible, I'd pick up Arcade if it went DotW, quite enjoyed the trial.
