Skerret's posting is ok to trip balls to and read just to experience the ambience but don't expect any content. "I'm jealous of sucking major dick!"~ Kernowgaz
Brimmer? I was there just a couple hours ago, the lad on the bar (John) is a nice guy, dead friendly. Tonight we chatted Mel Brooks movies.
Ushitora in Shimokita is a fine establishment too. They recalled my face despite a gap of nigh a year between visits.
Watering Hole and the place in Nakano are news to me though, so now I have summat to do in the coming weekends.
Oh but I now realise the Nakano Kobo joint is the same guys as the one I went to in Koenji the other month. Well, not like I need an excuse to go again.
Places omitted from that short, but worthy in the extreme: Goodbeer Faucets, Craftheads, Baird Taprooms in both Nakameguro and Harajuku (they throw a solid early morn Superbowl do), Popeye, Devilcraft, The Aldgate. Despite the sheer girth of this town it's not tricky to get 'round all the good boozepoints in a couple days.
Honestly at this point I know more about the city's delights than most of the locals. Fuck wimme.
Yoghurt with some seeds and nuts mix. There were some very sweet, sticky nuts in there, didn't like it that much.
Last night we had supermarket sushi, since our supermarket now has a sushi bar inside and we wanted to give it a go. They make what you order, and have some ready to go. I don't know what's happening anymore.
I wish there was somewhere that did sushi near me. Was it decent?
My parents have made chilli almost every Saturday night for like, 25 years. Not even hyperbole, they probably made it tonight too. I very rarely cook it but made it for dinner tonight, never thought of it as much of a comfort food but just smelling the spices in it tonight made me feel all nostalgic and like I was a teenager at home again. And there's even leftovers for work tomorrow, win.
