I thought the first Jack Reacher was good, the second terrible. So bad I watched it, completely forgot it, then started watching it another time and took about 10 minutes to realise i had seen it before (and why i forgot it)davyK wrote:Jack Reacher : Never Go Back I've read a few of the novels and enjoy them and I know the choice of Cruise has been criticised by many. But I think he does a great job. He has the world weariness of Reacher down pat. I've heard they are looking for a new relatively unknown actor now for more of these - someone who is closer in size to the character too. But I think Cruise will be hard to follow. I really enjoyed this.

Funny old genre - not one I'm a big fan of but when I watch a good one I love it and wonder why I'm not a fan. Looking through that list there's some superb pieces of work to enjoy. I don't agree with the order at the business end but who ever does with list-me-dos?

Nice to The Gunfighter in there (intresting note in there that Bob Dylan wrote a song about it) although it's top ten material for me.RamSteelwood wrote:Stumbled on this article, and I thought it might be of interest to the western fans on here: https://www.vulture.com/article/50-best-western-movies-ever.html
