The Famous B&B Rocket League League Attempt of 2015 - ENTRY NOW CLOSED

This league will work and will be finished or I will eat my Cunt Pad.
1. Teams of 2, no Bots.
2. Teams play each other twice in a season.
3. A point for a win, nowt for a loss.
4. Goals scored and conceded are also recorded (see below) so MAKE A NOTE!
5. Standings are determined in following order: points, goal diff, goals scored, head to head result (incl goals scored etc). If teams at top still tied after that then play-offs will be played off to decide overall league winner. Otherwise position is shared.

Think it all depends on peeps and management - the premiership thread went the distance because, when I couldn't do it, others stepped in.
And, while I don't participate, I know the Mario Kart thread seems to have constant time trials. Point is, leagues often end up unfinished, but recent forum history seems to show it's possible.

We finished the first ever trials league, which lasted months and months.

The crucial difference is that we didn't all have to play at the same time for those two leagues.
I'm optimistic that the five minute match times should see us get a few games in per session. Fingers crossed. -

We don't all have to play at the same time. There could be one or two matches a week, and matches could even be postponed and replayed in a later week. It just needs strong organisation.

Four of us do though, eight if you want more than one match. I can't see the stars aligning on this one, but I'm hoping for the best.

run singles and doubles leagues at the same time....if the right pairings are on together, play the doubles matches, otherwise you can at least play the singles...that will also help keep the momentum and interest, stop people getting fed up if they keep turning up only for 1 of the other 3 needed not be there at the right time for the doubles..."Like i said, context is missing."
