Ok. So we're going to run a new time trial championship event.

* - I'm going to use the games challenge system so you'll need to register your interest here and add me as a friend (SilentMcBob) so I can send out invites to only the people taking part.

* - We'll have two leagues (fast and slow) with the demotion of the slowest and promotion of the fastest driver each week.

* - Everyone will get the chance to pick a car and course in turn.

* - Each trial will be open for a week.

Looking forward to setting some times.

Happy to run one for each league.. maybe the same track but the lower league in faster cars?

Anyother suggestions would be great at this point.

Yeah, I agree with Ad, maybe monthly promo/relegation.

The shorter the turnaround the more work for you because, in fairness, all points should reset to nil each time there's a promotion/relegation point.

To avoid two people switcheroo-ing non-stop, you could have the top and bottom two (rather than just one) of each league switching places, as the second last and second places are likely to be different more often, I think.

I would suggest, once you have all your entrants, have an event to determine standings, then divide into two leagues. Each period will last as many weeks as there are participants in a league, so in each round everyone gets to pick a track and vehicle. At the end of the period, top two of the slow league are promoted, bottom two of the fast league are relegated.

If you get as many as eleven or twelve participants, have three leagues, bottom having three or four. That way, the entire middle tier is replaced each round.
