Saw it in Game yesterday. The reviews were so so and I can imagine why, but I couldn't help being impressed. The art looked great, and the shadow manipulation mechanic looked novel enough.
I wouldn't say it's awful, but the novelty of the mechanic wears off rather quickly and the linearity becomes tiresome.

Not awful, but pretty bad. Various points of being stuck in scenery, various points of glitching physics to 'solve' a puzzle, various points it runs out of ideas. Frustrating as hell at points. I forced myself to the end to write a blog post about it, then never did write it. I'll never get that time back, and I never got back into my blogging stride.
So, I suppose some would point to that as a positive. Otherwise, there are plenty better games to play.
It looked interesting. I like art deco, and the shadow world conceit is uncommon.
But if yall' say it's pony, then I won't rush out and buy a PS4 just yet...
