Third person stealthy something from a bunch of ex io/hitman folks.
FUCKING STUNNING to look at.
Heavy on voice acting and walking and talking early on. Static but stunning environments. (good news, the voice acting and dialogue is well above shit tier. No academy awards, but I'm happily listening.)
Haven't gotten to the meat yet, but already feels special.
First game that is really making my laptop work for a while.
I think the game premise is great. I wouldn’t agree that it’s stunning to look at. It has a reduced pallette which may make it seem more aesthetically pleasing. But I found the walking animation quite clunky. None of this detracts from the original gameplay idea which is still solid.
It frustrated me because the main mechanic is what made me get the game but it was constantly stopping me from reaching it. I have little gaming time so it took two evenings to locate any gameplay.
If it had started with the

black bits of the character twitching on the floor
it could have been a fairly strong opener. Sure there's a good reason for it but
To be honest, I've not had time to play it. My PC is a wee bit long in the tooth but it seemed smooth aside from when the lights go off and on and you could tell it was doing stuff. I'm still near the start, though.
I'm gonna move it back to the ssd. Minor pauses entering new areas, but I just had it when trying to line up a shot, that's an annoyance.
dialogue continues to be passable, but it's a touch heavy handed in explaining the mechanics. Given how much care has gone into making gameplay/huds/etc internally consistent with game world, it's fair enough. But they just explained something that might have been nice to work out organically. Instead of a csi moment.
The voice acting I think is quite strong. After the initial set up, it's fairly sparse too.
Reading back through my posts, timing sums up the issue. It's fairly slow in giving new mechanics or abilities and each section probably goes on too long.
My boring comment came at what turned out to be the end of a long section. Next bit had a fairly major change. Now appear to be on the home stretch.
Which at least means I think it's not going to outstay its welcome.
Still haven't used 2 of the actions at my disposal for the whole game. And one other I only used when I got it.
Its solid, it's less than a chalice, but I'm not sure it did enough past proof of concept. I suspect there is hidden depth and some fun things to do with the ai etc, but the foundational play is pretty rudimentary.
Story is potentially interesting, and the two actors do a very good job, but I was possibly losing interest along the way so what should have been big reveals or clever plot twists lost me.
