Got my boat after guessing correctly where Keifer would be hanging about! It's opening up nicely now - I don't like unseen random battles when travelling the over world though. I got fed up of skies of Arcadia when I couldn't find an area in my airship and exploring was annoying due to the constant random battles
The Dragon Quest Builders demo is up. I played a little bit, kind of weird playing a polished traditional publishing version of Minecraft with a full-on tutorial etc.
Although it seems very light on story, it's basically a parallel-universe continuation of a sort-of alternative ending you can produce at the end of Dragon Quest I, so you might want to check it out on smartphone if you're super-uber hyped for it and want to have all the deep lore that probably won't end up being at all relevant to the Builders experience.
"ERE's like Mr. Muscle, he loves the things he hates"
I'm avoiding the Builders demo to keep it fresh for the full jobbie. A lot of the vibes suggest it's a very nice little product. I'm kind of sold already so not too sure what the demo this far out will add for me..
It's a shame we're not getting the Vita version. I'd have got around to playing it a lot sooner were that the case. Also, I'm not big on Minecraft so I'm going to have to read a few reviews first.
Come on, Elf, make ol' Raz's day and finally get around to it.
In my mega clearout of Pile O Shame (last year) I kept all the DQs on DS. I'm sure I'll get round the them at some point, but I'm so bad at handheld gaming.
To prove the point, I haven't actually played the DS Zelda games...
Argos sale. They still have DQVI for 5.99 too. That goes down to 2.99 in every sale. Glad I bought all the old pokemon games there for cheap when I did too (even the last DS one's are over 40 quid all of a sudden).
I always check argos 3ds/ds section of the website for random things, I think they just find an old box in the warehouse and stick them on.
Well at £3 that is insane levels of value for money in my book. It's beast of a game. I threw three hundred hours at a third play through earlier this year, taking me up to eight hundred in total.
Well Dragon Quest Builders is utterly charming, I fucking love it.
Complete a tutorial quest and the lass I've just helped said 'It's hard to believe someone so dopey looking could be so talented!'. Er, thanks, I think.
Gorgeous style about it, and the building stuff works really well. The music is fabulous too, naturally.
