I'd be surprised if you found yourself wanting more missions. The ones I've played are all variations on open world events you'll have played before.

I love it, it's not got a campaign, you just choose maps and AI and explore/fight you galaxy with various RTS win conditions, it's mainly built for multiplayer and has a dedicated following who play it.

I just like fooling around against the AI though, I took some amazing pictures via steam as the new graphics for ships and weapons are quite impressive. Can't post them ATM as I'm playing TWD, but here's one from my phone of an old capital ship next to one of the new (and massive) Titans...

Sounds tempting, but lack of campaign's probably a deal breaker for me, not likely to play online. Might have a look for the original, must be going cheap now.

No point getting the original when Rebellion is Â£8.

You can still set up games from 1v1 to 16 FFA, to locked teams, free diplomacy, 12 planets, 100 planets, etc

It's quite flexible in its scenario building.

Rebellion is the original and all 4 expansions plus the graphic upgrade, so if you were going to get one, get this (or torrent it if you aren't fussed about online)
