It will take more than a pair of spectacles for me to get any joy out of the extreme tracks. I can't see the appeal of it anymore. Get past an obstacle, 10 faults later you pass the next one, 23 faults later you pass the next one, 47 faults later you fluke past the next one. Great fun that.
Well yeah, if you're not learning any techniques from the game, then it will be shit. The more you play, the more you improve, it's not exactly a game that holds your hand all the way through like most these days. I can more than likely do every extreme, but I refuse to.
It wasn't meant in that way, apologies if you took it as such. I refuse to do them as I hate them, as I did on HD, so I'm backing you up in a sense. I prefer th easier flow of lines rather than the yank the bike every which way just to get over an obstacle.
I don't think much of the beginner and easy ones either to be honest, the medium and hard ones were the best balanced for me. I'm bored of them now though, playing for an hour just to get near your own times isn't doing it for me anymore.
I'll give it the odd blast here and there, but for now I'm done.
I took a break today and started to get the squirrels. They are so obscure that I had to use a guide, but they are great fun to find. They are certainly some of the best collectibles and their locations are genius.

I've got one. Or maybe two, but I don't know where the second one came from. The first I found by letting the camera pull back after the end of one of the levels. Some big bomb exploded. Then there was a squirrel.
Yeah I managed to get that one, but the rest so far have been incredibly obscure, I would never have found them. Its things like reversing at certain points, bailing out in some jumps and so on. Really obscure but fun to then try and get.

So I only have some of the extremes left to plat, and half the tournies, and I'm still outside the top one thousand which I'd understand if my times were shite. Global leaderboards still seem beyond borked.
The last plats will be worth a lot, as will no faulting the tournaments. If I remember from Trials HD, no faulting one tournament would have been worth more than putting all my times into the top 500 or so.
Just checked the stats, and oddly DS and I have both played it for 1 day 3 hours and 25 minutes.Â
Any chance of chosing the first user generated competition track DS, or does it start on Monday? Will probably put another hour in later. I vote for a medium track.
I'm losing track of days. Obviously I blame Trials. And Kraken rum.Â
I could take pics of the leaderboard and upload it each week, I think I have most of the B&B Trials nuts on my FL. If we take turns in choosing tracks, say the winner either chooses or delegates, we probably don't need to do any more than that. Working out the points from the photo each week would be easy enough.Â
As you suggested it I reckon you should set the ball rolling by picking our first track.
We'll have to work something out. Maybe a handicap system where the runaway winners get a couple of seconds added onto their time before we work out the results? Or is this getting a bit Quizzlestick? It's gonna be fun anyway.
