Couple of guys done, few secrets, speedy boots, no real complaints yet. And haven't invoked any assists yet either... If Silksong now arrives before I'm done I'll be fuming, however...

There's a bunch of quality and polish. Looks lovely, plenty of detail and solid ideas. But it's very repetitive and the combat is a little too bullet spungy. Apparently only 4 and bit hours to complete, but not sure I'll bother. With that I mind, I reinstalled rainworld. I seem to recall that downpour is the sort of dlc that integrates with whole game. Is that the case or am I right to just play vanilla.

More after 2pm today, but yeah. Closest comparison point is probably Fez.Moot_Geeza wrote:Day one I think. Depending on reviews obvs. Although reading between the lines I think Jon is giving us a sign.
Coolio, got impatient and bought downpour. Will be jumping in later.Moot_Geeza wrote:I played that a couple of years back, wasn't too keen. There's a sequel on the way which might be worth a look if they address the issues. Be warned: it'll take longer than 4hrs if you're playing on the default settings. It does that slightly annoying thing where the standard difficulty is annoying but the easy setting puts up no resistance whatsoever. Downpour is the integrated dlc for Rainworld yeah - no seen anyone say it doesn't improve the game, so maybe play that if you can. I'm not brave enough to start it but I've read about it quite a bit and watched a few vids. Seems like a legit modern classic, might be worth binning Tales of Iron to focus on that.Facewon wrote:So after finishing black Skylands, I jumped across to tails of iron.
