EA don't have a great rep for supporting games that under perform in sales. The last Star Wars Battlefront seems to have had bare bones support and the Battlefield 5 community is fairly nervous about the road map as it stands.Speedhaak wrote:There is a great game there just waiting to break free. I suspect though it could be nearly this time next year before that happens. I guess it's par for the course with live service games now. The moment to moment gameplay is still exceptional though. However, I get the impression from all of the odd mish-mash of design and functionality choices and ill-conceived ideas that development could very well have been rebooted on this too. There is no way there is six years worth of work on show here. I can see Jason Schreier enlightening us all in a few weeks or months. On the plus side having access to EA Premiere (while I loathe subs) is good in this case as one can just cancel their sub and come back again in a few months. Which I shall do.
