I personally like seeing the tattered, corner-of-the-sketchbook scribbles that go on to evolve into beautifully animated pixel sprites.

Objectively they are shit. That, to me, is the entire point. They were clearly refined after that and look excellent in the game and after reading your Brother's blog it is easy to see that they aren't indicative of his talent as an artist in any way, shape or form.

Thank you Tempy. There was always a risk posting them that someone (surprise surprise) would come along and rubbish them.

The fact is this thread is not to pimp the game. I have no insecurities about the game, and do not by any stretch of the imagination have to try and sell it. The idea of posting them was for those with a little interest in the game to get an exclusive peak at them, as my bro was kind enough to let me post them.

And Unlikely, if you like horror games by all means give it a shout.

Not a duffer in the pack. Bastion and Meat Boy I've not checked out, so I'm off to download them onto a pink netbook as my mac died and watch the framerate suffer. To be fair I played Lone Survivor on this and it was fine as it's an adventure game at heart.

This game is very very good indeed. So very clever. It's amazing the level of detail in the characters and world with such limited resources.

Got caught out twice with no bullets left, will need to rethink my strategy.
