Apparently it's the core story (base game storyline with none of the DLC stuff, but seemingly complete with all cutscenes) in a simplified, graphically toned down experience that lasts about 10 hours. Doesn't sound too amazing but for portable only players that wanna check out FFXV might be OK?
(I haven't played it but am researching as I'm curious for myself.)
