Heavy Machine Gun in Mace Griffin was a favourite of mine - a mini gun with a grenade 2nd function. Made a great noise but on full auto caused serious lag - thanks PS2.
Big fan of the Needler in Halo - dual wielded in MP they were great fun, if not for the destruction then from the reaction from septic teens who objected to being killed by a 'gay' weapon. Also liked the dual wielded spikers.
Hello. I do so love killing things in video games. 'Tis an absolute joy, especially when the method of death is needlessly brutal. Most of my favourites have already been mentioned but here they are anyway; Far Cry 2's flame thrower, best burny thing I've ever used, those screams *sigh*. Turok 2's cerebral bore, the way the brains pour from the shuddering victims head like you forgot to put the top on a blender is a memory that never fails to raise a chuckle. Isaac's plasma cutter from Dead Space, precision limb removal FTW!
But ultimately there's nothing I enjoy more than hurling living animals at bad guys, so Stranger's crossbow takes it ('sup Yoss). Wanna lure a baddie into a trap with a wisecrackin' chipmunk so you can watch as he's eaten alive by a swarm of rabid fuzzles, or make someone puke their guts up with a well placed stunk up before securing them in a bolamite web and executing them with a burst of stingbees to the face? Me too.
Oh and the land shark gun from Armed and Dangerous. Sorry, Escape.
