It's a fairly short season but it grows all over the place where trees meet river. Wash and blitz the younger leaves with olive oil and store it in the fridge. Add it to everything. In about six weeks it'll flower and the season will be over.
There are some fat patches in the park, had a look today and didn't have to look hard- they'd be in my face the entire time! Gonna go for it at the weekend. They haven't flowered yet, should I wait? What's best? I've always just plucked the leaves away but I am thinking I might uproot a few.
They've done away with most of the nettles in there but you never know loads might pop up over the coming weeks.
"Better than a tech demo. But mostly a tech demo for now. Exactly what we expected, crashes less and less. No multiplayer." - BnB NMS review, PS4, PC
Pick 'em now. The younger the better. When they're a bit older you should blanch them briefly to avoid bitterness but the younger leaves can be straight blitzed with oil to keep them. The white flowers are good in salads but the leaves are probably best avoided by then.
I need some good burger cheeses. Solid melt, good flavour. Go!
Found a bakery that does amazeballs burger buns. Now just need to come up with a sauce. I've done a tangy sundried tomato sauce before that's gone well.
There's a hipster looking burger place opening 2mins from my house. Fingers crossed it's good. Although I might not be able to cross my fat fingers at all if it is
