Pizza, good quality tinned tomatoes squished between fingers straight onto pulled out, not rolled dough. Ripped buffalo mozzarella, torn basil, pinch of salt, turn of pepper and drizzled with decent extra virgin olive oil.
I still don't have a dining room but I do now have a kitchen. So the wife and the kids are churning out cakes and treats constantly. It's like they are making up for lost time, months of pent up baking energy being released all at once.
Piccanto peppers (seriously just put these in everything).
Maybe left of roast like lamb or chicken?
Pickled onions? Mop off the excess wetness using some kitchen roll.
I'm on a bit of a mission to get pickled onions out of salads and into cooked food at the moment.
