So, I picked this up for nothing (long story).
And it's not bad.
It's very gentle and the art style is beautiful, the rhyming couplets dialogue is nifty if a little irritating after a while.
The combat is ok, the lack of enemy health bar is an odd omission and the whole casting timeline thing works well enough.
But it's not inspired in any way and as such I can't recommend it wholeheartedly.
Still for £12 it's a decently priced and welcome alternative from shooting bitchez in the face.
I can imagine as a shared experience between a parent and child it could be quite rewarding.

can get a bit challenging on Hard, in fact last time I played, a couple of nights ago, I got stuck against a giant spider. Belted me a few times in a row.
No idea what the characters are on about half the time as the rhymes kinda wash over me and I don't really pay attention, but it's fun exploring, nice to look at and has the usual incentives to do so (levelling up, finding new things to craft, etc).
Quite like it, well made I reckon.
When you got movies like Tom Cruise in them, you can't lose
