GTAV wasn't out when the OP was written. Not adding it purely because of HYPE! seems reasonable enough to me.

Not played Revengence, Bioshock, Fire Emblem, M3DW or Pokemon, any of which i might enjoy.

Oh, hey, I've just realised I've played the first ten minutes of Thomas Was Alone, too. Except the one that was released in 2012, so it doesn't really count.

Live, yeah. When Jojo started in '87 it was kind of informed by Fist of the North Star's style but quickly got a shitheap more flamboyant (though not actually less crazy-violent). Araki's whole thing evolved into supernatural/mystery/fighting manga via a kind of high-fashion illustration and liberal namechecking of popular bands and songs, right up to doing illustrations and displays for Gucci. His work is a perfect storm and he's been ripped off by a bunch of firms including Capcom.

The game itself is now a really very respectable entry, and it'll hit the Occident next year. The feel is essentially "Vamp Saviour/Mahvel/GG for old people". Plenty of long combos and juggles, dodging, Roman cancelling and that but at reasonably sane speeds.
