Same, and they are absolutely flawless.Diluted Dante wrote:Mine are Energizer. That's about all I know.
Wasn't me but I'll have a look now...Subbax wrote:Moto, didn't you and I play some CoD ages ago where a mate of your had researched the fuck out of recharge batts? I think the site was Battery Logic.

Just bought 16 x AA 2900mAh and an 'intelligent and super-fast' charger for £37.58, hopefully this means my days of not having any batteries in the house are over!WorKid wrote:
You say there is no need to research and then offer advice thus justifying me asking the question so thanks for your help, as you can see above I have steered clear of the 800mAh batteries, I presume that this is OK for AAA's though?Elmlea wrote:This isn't something you really need to research. Buy 2000-2500mAh batteries and a charger, then use them. I just picked up my first Energizer ones from Tesco. Is there much more to it? Cheap, own brand crappy ones might not last as long, but all the cheap crappy ones I've seen admit this by badging themselves as 800mAh etc.

That's why I originally asked for advice! Does this mean that if I use them in my Sky Remote they won't last as long as my usual Duracell?mrsmr2 wrote:If you have nimh batteries, they will lose charge over time so it's a good idea to top them up if they have sat for a couple of weeks after being charged.
I've got them to replace all my AA's once the current ones expire, I now realise it is probably overkill.Mod74 wrote:They'll last about the same a pair of good alkaline batteries. Sticking them in the Sky remote is a bit wasteful really.
I was going to charge all of them to start with and then give them a few hours when others start needing to be replaced. In hindsight I probably didn't need to order 16 of them, oh well I may as well add some AAA's to the mix...mrsmr2 wrote:No, they'll last fine just not as long as normal ones. I wouldn't charge a load unless you have a lot of devices on the go. I normally have 4 charged and in reserve.
