Links don't work as we've gone from square brackets to greaterthan ones. Petey was on about moving back to square ones though, so I guess you could do a find and replace or wait and see what happens.

Not sure why I'm getting soft returns in the ones in the 'C' and 'D' sections where there's a space between the gamertag names.

Right, bought what I think will be my 3rd possibly 4th 360 today, Amazon have done me a 250GB slim with a years Gold membership for Â£169.85 bless them, and as I had Â£70-odd quid in amazon vouchers knocking around forever it's cost me less than a hundred real monies. Should have been Â£179.85 I reckon but on checkout it knocked the gold down to a tenner instead of the twenty it should have been.

Anyway, I'm sure someone probably told me on the oldrum or the even olderrum, but how do I go about getting my gamertag back, no idea what e-mail account it would've been registered to back in the day?

Also, probably going to use it mainly for XBLA stuff, will be getting Trials straight away, but what are the gems I won't even know exist.

Also, if there are any outstanding disc based exclusives I should be trying please let me know.

Played as far as Halo 3, think I'm done with the franchise.
Only played Gears 1, are the other 2 worth the effort?
Forza - assume I'd need 4 right, does it still have all the crazy design stuff?
The Outfit - never heard of it, what's the crack?

I quite liked ODST and Reach campaign wise, of course you need to play Gears 2 and 3 to see how the story pans out, Forza 4 does indeed feature the design stuff, I was being facetious about Teh Outfit.

Tbh, Trials will keep you going for a while, but you will need some respite... um Fez, Pinball FX2, Rez HD...

Hoping if I can recover my GT that I can get whatever XBLA stuff I bought years ago back, which will include Rez HD (hallelujah!).

Just bought RR:Unbounded for PS3 but must admit it's not really doing it for me, might trade it in for Forza as I can imagine I'd spend hours fannying about with the decals etc.

I assume you're being facetious about Gears as well then, but will definitely have a look at Fez as well .

Where's everyone get there MS points from these days then?

Slightly facetious about Gears mebbe, but it is a rite of passage for every 360 owner, and there is some joy to be had in co-op campaign and Horde mode especially.

If you're looking a bit further afield for disc based exclusives, then; Ace Combat 6, Alan Wake, Beautiful Katamari, Crackdowns 1 and 2, Fables 2 and 3, Project Gotham Racing 4 and Race Pro are all to be considered.

That could be a problem, MS won't tell you what email address is associated with a gamertag because of fraud etc. I'm assuming you don't know what card is associated with it either.

I'd recommend going to Xbox.com and trying as many email/passwords as you can remember in the hope one lets you in. (Or do it on the Xbox with a USB keyboard plugged in)

I've lent a lot of games out to someone else who has just got a 360 but I've still got a pile of stuff you're welcome to borrow if you like.

Shadow Complex, Trials Evo, GeoWars 2, Limbo, Fez, Pinball FX2, Iron Brigade, Toy Soldiers Cold War, From Dust, Bastion, Monday Night Combat, Defense Grid, Rez HD are all worth trying the demos of.

Is Pac-man CE-DX an exclusive? Don't think so. Think maybe CE was.
